Getting the NHQ award means getting better.
The National Housing Quality Award is more than a trophy. It’s a rigorous quality improvement program. It recognizes industry leaders for business performance and a commitment to quality improvement. The months-long process of applying for the award includes intensive consultation with experts in construction, management, human resources and customer service. These experts look into every nook and cranny of the business, observing, documenting and providing feedback. All of which makes the award process highly valuable and makes the award itself even more meaningful. Rarely does a homebuilder win during their first year of application, but French Brothers did!
The NHQ Award is an in-depth report card on how well we treat people inside and outside the company. It shows how well we serve our customers, employees and trade partners, how strong and sustainable our company is, and most certainly, how well we build our homes. For the families who buy our homes, it is further assurance that when you build with French Brothers you’re in good hands.
We could go on and on … But the best way to prove we’re better is to SHOW you. After all, we’ve been doing this for a long time. We know buying a home is a big deal – we want you to know it’s a big deal to us as well. The more we can do to ease your mind and simplify your process, the more you can enjoy watching your dream become a reality.
Among other awards, French Brothers has been recognized as “Builder of the Year” multiple times, along with special notoriety in Energy Star and energy efficient homebuilding practices.

The association’s Las Casitas awards recognize outstanding achievements in the homebuilding industry in over 100 categories. The Grand Award is presented to the state’s best overall builder and is the most coveted award. “It’s kind of like our mini-Oscars and we are honored to be among such great company as the other winners.” says Tom French, President of French Brothers.
