Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition opened this past July at the Western Heritage Museum (1 Thunderbird Circle) in Hobbs and will continue to show until November 6th.
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is an enriching, educational and entertaining experience for tourists and homes in Hobbs NM residents of all ages. It features more than 250 real artifacts that were recovered from the fateful voyage that set sail more than 104 years ago. Attendees are invited to go back in time to view room re-creations and hear personal stories that focus on a different part in the gripping story of Titanic’s first and only voyage. In addition, exhibit goers are given a boarding pass upon entry that has the name of a real Titanic passenger. Once patrons get to the end of the exhibit they find out if their person survived or perished.
